Hi, my name is Geoff and I’m the president of the Eldon Society. Whether you’re a brand new student to a third year dreading the fact that it’ll all soon be over we’re planning events and socials for everyone. After two great years here at Newcastle I know just how good a city and university it is. Myself and the rest of the fun and hardworking committee will be trying to help everyone make this year even better than any that have gone before. It’s a tough task but I’m sure everyone is up for it. Come the end of the year we’ll all be looking back at some great events like the Hypnotist night, the Ball, the Trips, at great performances in sport and mooting, and at a million and one other great memories (including one brilliant surprise that I can’t reveal to anyone just yet).
